Hi,
Is anyone familiar with the process of back to back visas to stay in Russia (Im UK citizen) and then the process of what happens when applying for a temporary residence permit (TRP) ?
I visited Russian in May, left in June for a couple of weeks and then stayed until 10 days before my tourist visa expired.
If the 90/180 days rule is enforced then I think I can start my next visa from early November. This time it will be a private inviation visa from my Russian fiance.
We will marry in Moscow in December and my private visa will expire in 180 days so early February next year.
At the end of February we will travel to Mauritius for a blessing and honeymoon for a couple of weeks.
My questions are what will my options be to avoid being separated for months when married ?
If I applied for a TRP then it seems that these can take 4 - 6 months but do they keep my passport ?
Am I allowed to leave Russia and re - enter or if I love how do I get back, another private visa for 90 days stay in May onwards.
Just that this currently means that after the honeymoon we couldnt both return to Russia together which isnt the best way to continue the relationship lol.
Anyone wise to the rules of back to back visa applications, if the 90/180 rule is enforced and what happens during the 4-6 month wait of a TRP ?
Thanks in advance 🙂
