Friends & Family Visa (thanks Phoebe) - Apply in the UK

Hi Phoebe,
You mentioned to me a few months ago about the ability to apply for a 12 month visa from within the UK now I am married to my Russian wife.
What we are struggling to find is what invitation she needs to create for the 12 months visa application.
Previously it was electronic but now it seems to be a statement type of invitation but its not clear how and where she applies so we can gauge timescales etc

The invitation is on the Russian Visa Centre website, I presume you will be applying in the London Office so use that one. She just needs to get it notarised in Russia and send you it. She does not have to attend herself in the UK.
