Hi this is mainly a question to those who have applied for Russian Visas not from their home country. I’m an American that currently lives in the EU, I’m going to the Russian Embassy on Monday to apply for my 3-year Multi Entry Visa. However, my EU residency expires that day but I have a bridging visa that’s valid for a couple months while I wait for my new RP and a paper stating the lodging of my application for a new one. Will this be enough to apply or will I need to wait for my new RP?
Has anyone had issues with applying for a Russian visa with a similar situation? When I called the embassy they seemed confused and said just to come to the embassy to see if I can actually apply.
I read that also my residency needs to be longer than 90 days, atm my bridging visa is valid for 75 days, will they care? I am bringing many extra docs also so hopefully they will see my dedication and allow me to apply.
Thanks! I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
