Evisa insurance period

Hi Irena,
Thx for such amazing website you created here, very helpful!!
Here just a small question related to evisa insurance, as I understand, we only need to buy the insurance that cover the period of our stay. The maximum days I can stay in Russia with evisa is 16 , but if I planning a 10 days stay , I will be fine just buy a 10 days insurance? Or I have to get the insurance cover the whole 16 days?

Thank u for helping Irena, also may I ask if I need to print out my flight ticket (the one leaving Russia after my trip) to show them when I will be leaving at Passport control when I arriving?
