Hello friends, I'm from Austria and will soon be traveling to Russia with my own van.
I've obtained a 90-day visa with multiple entries and exits. Since I plan to travel from St. Petersburg to Mongolia, I'm not sure how the registration process works.
I'll mostly be sleeping in my car along the way, but I'll never stay in one place for more than seven days. Does anyone have any experience with this?

yes, with my car, and stays at friends or rented flats where owner didn't bother to register. Before COVID times hiatus. I just went to a hotel in the first days of my stay, and yet again sometimes along the stay. First time was in 2006, and several occasions since, last time summer 2023 via Stockhholm-Åbo-Torfyanovka, when Finnish border was still open.

my concern these days with car is what EU border crossing could be best. so to not spend a day in a queue at a parking lot.
