Tourist versus Private Visa

Hi Irena,
I have a three year multiple entry tourist visa and have made a trip as well.

Q- I have already made a trip to the two cities A and B listed in my visa application.
If I now want to visit city C that was not in the original visa application, can I do this using the same three year multiple entry visa?

Q- If my stay is less than 30 days eg. 2 to 3 days and I stay at a hotel the whole time, is it permitted to know someone in that city and visit them say at a restaurant as long as I do not stay with them anywhere?

Or in that scenario, I would need to get a new private visa?

Abhay_ddn Once you have obtained the tourist visa you can move freely around Russia and visit whoever you want

Irena Yes, I can confirm that I put Moscow on my visa application and stayed in several locations not in Moscow.

Also, in your opinion/experience , if I visit the same city A s second time in June that I just visited in Jan, I am sure Russian immigration at the airport would red flag and ask me more questions? What do you think?

Abhay_ddn It doesn't have to, you can visit Russia again for tourism

The reason I want to visit so soon again is that I want to visit my friend there in the summer. I will be staying at a hotel not with the friend.

Hey Irena, I have applied for a 3 year multiple entry. After my first trip to Kaliningrad, After my return to the U.S. do I need a voucher to return to Russia for additional visits?
